First impressions of Norway…

Photos all copyright of Jordan Armstrong

…Norway through the eye of a first time visitor who happens to be a dab hand with a camera!

It´s so much fun showing people around the place – not least so they can see that Norway is much more than dramatic fjords and mountains. It´s also got miles and miles of coastline, woodlands, wildlife and the quirky sights and seasons of this idiosyncratic little country…

Last weekend we had visitors from England, my little sister and her friend Jordan who also happens to be a keen photographer – fascinating to see the details someone spontaneously picks out when visiting for the first time!

The gallery function works really well by the way – just click on one photo and move easily from that to the next.

Fantastic, I love seeing the difference between what my visitors expect and what they experience when they get here. Norway is so good for photographers, in the summer the light can be incredible! But even in the late winter you can get some awesome effects with the light reflecting off the snow =)
